Last Call: PCI’s Workshop is June 27th and 28th
Featured speaker is Daniel Kemmis. Daniel is a Senior Fellow at the University of Montana’s Center for the Rocky Mountain West. He is the former Mayor of Missoula, and a former Speaker and Minority Leader of the Montana House of Representatives. He is the author of Community and The Politics of Place, The Good City and the Good Life, and This Sovereign Land: A New Vision for Governing the West.
Other panelists will include Senator Ted Koffman and Representative Chris Rector, who along with Ron Beard, program coordinator for Maine Solutions, will describe how they are adapting the Solutions model for their state. Sessions will also feature discussion among programs about how they are making connections both within their institutions and with community partners, how research can be made available to inform practice, and other topics.
The PCI workshop is designed for university centers and other programs that are providing neutral forums and staff capacity for public leaders to use collaborative approaches to governance.
